Egin yn barod?

Danielle Cowell, 19 Tachwedd 2009

Gofynnodd disgyblion o Ysgol Gynradd Oakfield yng Nghaerdydd: 'Pryd bydd y bylbiau'n egino?'

Fel arfer 'nid tan ar ôl Nadolig' fyddai f'ateb ond mae rhai wedi dechrau egino'n barod.

Dywedodd disgyblion o Ysgol Gynradd Pentre-poeth yn Abertawe: 'Cawsom syndod o weld egin ac erbyn hyn gwelsom rai yn y gwelyau blodau. Dyma lun i chi eu gweld.'

O edrych ar y llun er nad wyf gant y cant yn si?r maent yn ymddangos fel egin cennin Pedr. Edrychwch ar fy llun o'r llynedd - beth ydych chi'n ei feddwl?

Gadewch sylwadau os gwelwch unrhyw egin cynnar. Danfon lluniau at scan@aocc.ac.uk

Diolch, Athro'r Ardd

I have attached some photographs of our planting at Sychdyn school. This year our Year 6 children were 'helped' by our Year 1 children. They all had a super time deciding where to plant their bulbs and we have been collecting our weather data carefully.

That is interesting. I think perhaps this mild weather we have been having, up until recently has confused the bulbs a little. Hopefully, the frost we are expecting this weekend won't damage your bulbs. These daffodils are very tough - but keep us posted in the spring.

keep up the good work.

Hi! Professor Plant. Yes our bulbs appeared early last week too. Much too early we thought. The children were thrilled.
