Portrait of a Lady: Mrs K A Riches
Artist: William, REYNOLDS-STEPHENS
Daeth Reynolds-Stephens dan ddylanwad Gilbert a Frampton i raddau helaeth. Mae'r portread diweddar hwn, a ddangoswyd yn yr Academi Frenhinol ym 1927, yn dangos ei hoffter parhaus o'r mudiad Celf a Chrefft. Mae'n dangos y gwrthrych mewn gwisg nos gyfoes ac yn dal ffan.
Reynolds-Stephens was much influenced by Gilbert and Frampton. This late portrait, exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1927, reveals his continued attachment to the Arts and Crafts movement. It depicts the sitter in contemporary evening dress, holding a fan.

Dear Steve, Many thanks for your comment and for your interest in William Reynolds-Stephens. Your print sounds very interesting. We will be in touch with you directly regarding an image of our piece. With best wishes
I have a print of a painting by William Reynolds-Stephens, I think dated 1894 (simply has 94 under his signature) of a lady in evening dress holding a fan. I believe it to be a contemporary photographic print, which was I understand they did at the time, mounted on thick card in a very nice, old reeded oak frame, with a bevelled, gilt insert, all seemingly very old.
I've been trying to find out about it for a while now and your description here matches the image, but also seems to describe a sculpture, which I believe Reynolds-Stephens also did. Do you have any pictures of your piece? I'm happy to share pictures of my print if you'd like to see them.
Best regards
Steve
