Cymrawd Ymchwil Anrhydeddus (Gwyddorau Naturiol)

Cymhwysterau ac Aelodaeth o Gyrff Perthnasol

BSc, PhD, DSc (Prifysgol Bryste). Daearegwr Siartredig Cymrawd y Gymdeithas Ddaearegol; Aelod o'r Gymdeithas Balaeontolegol, Cymdeithas y Daearegwyr, CYmdeithas Ussher.

Diddordebau Ymchwil

Mae gennyf ddiddordebau ymchwil amrywiol gan gynnwys diddordeb helaeth yn stratigraffeg a palaeoddaearyddiaeth Prydain. Ers gorffen fy Noethuriaeth, mae gennyf ddiddordeb mewn amonitau stratigraffeg Jwrasig. Mae darganfod ffawna deufalf cynnar gyda'r mwyaf anghyffredin yn y byd (o ddechrau'r Cyfnod Ordoficaidd yn ne Cymru) wedi arwain at ragor o waith gyda deufalfiau ac at gyfrannu at gyfrolau diwygiedig y Treatise on Invertebrate Paleontology.  Mae astudiaeth o ffawna Ediacara Cymru (y ffosilau hynaf yng Nghymru) yn mynd rhagddi.

Allweddeiriau

Palaeontoleg anifeiliaid di-asgwrn-cefn, stratigraffeg, amonitau Jwrasig, stratigraffeg Jwrasig, deufalfiau Ordoficaidd, ffawna Edicaraidd, palaeoddaearyddiaeth Prydain.
