Cymru’r canoloesoedd cynnar a’r canoloesoedd, yn enwedig archaeoleg a diwylliant materol aneddiadau amddiffynedig y canoloesoedd cynnar yng nghrannog Llan-gors (Powys) a Llanbedr-goch (Ynys Môn). Hefyd yn ymchwilio ac yn catalogio’r dystiolaeth archaeolegol ar gyfer mathau penodol o arteffactau, gan gynnwys arfau, bathodynnau pererinion a chofroddion yng Nghymru’r canoloesoedd cynnar, gemwaith a gwaith metel o’r canoloesoedd cynnar a’r canoloesoedd cynnar, Llys Rhosyr (Ynys Môn) yn y canoloesoedd a chasgliadau archaeolegol Diwylliannau’r Byd. Mae ei feysydd arbenigol yn cynnwys cerameg (400-1550 OC); cychod ac archaeoleg forwrol y canoloesoedd; arteffactau o’r canoloesoedd a’r cyfnod wedi hynny.
