Cymhwysterau ac Aelodaeth o Gyrff Perthnasol
BSc (Dosbarth Cyntaf, Cydanrhydedd) mewn Bioleg a Daeareg (Bristol); PhD mewn Taphonomeg meinweoedd sydd wedi’u cadw’n eithriadol o dda (Bristol).
Aelod o’r Gymdeithas Balaeontolegol, Grŵp Curaduron Daearegol a’r Gymdeithas Balaeontograffig. Golygydd ar Gyngor y Gymdeithas Balaeontolegol.
Diddordebau Ymchwil
Tacsonomeg trilobitau Ordoficaidd, a defnyddio ffosilau trilobit ar gyfer biostratigraffeg a phalaeobioddaearyddiaeth. Mae projectau ymchwil diweddar wedi canolbwyntio ar drilobitau o’r Ynys Las, Canada, Kazakhstan a Chymru. Ymchwil arall wedi canolbwyntio ar grwpiau eraill o arthropodau (trychfilod, cimychiaid), ffosilau problematig (machaeridia), a thaphonomeg ffosilau wedi’u cadw’n dda. Ymchwil cyfredol yn cynnwys gwaith ar drilobitau o lagerstätte siâl Castle Bank Burgess yn y canolbarth. Diddordeb mawr hefyd mewn ymgysylltu a rhannu gwybodaeth, gan gynnwys gwaith ar sawl arddangosfa dros-dro, a chydlynu digwyddiadau cyhoeddus yn yr Adran Gwyddorau Naturiol.
