No plants have flowered but we have shoots. There is also life in our pond. Will the frogs damage our plants? They are hiding behind our pots.

It's great to hear that you have frogs in your pond and that they are using your pots as a temporary home. Don't worry they wont damage your plants.
On another note. Yesterday, I saw the strangest thing at St.Fagans. I saw a Noctule bat, flying around and feeding in the day time! The Noctule bat is one of our largest. Professor Plant

A warm and sunny week. Five of our crocus bulbs have flowered this week. The children have measured the heights of these. Some of our daffoldil bulbs are also in bud. The leaves of our mystery bulbs are also growing. The children have taken their bulbs home to look after them during our half term holiday.

Very cold north easterly wind blowing through the valley
5 Chwe 2008. Mae fy mlodau wedi agor! Rwy'n meddwl eu bod nhw'n brydferth iawn. Mae'r petalau'n lliw porffor golau — ac mae gan rai linellau lliw lelog tywyll. Welwch chi'r stigma? Hwn yw'r darn oren tywyll y tu fewn i'r petalau. Y darnau oren golau yw'r antherau.
27 Ion 2008. Mae'r planhigion ychydig gentimedrau o uchder. Fel y gwelwch chi, mae'r petalau ar gau o hyd. Maen nhw'n barod i agor unrhyw ddiwrnod nawr!
23 Ion 2008. Mae blodyn y Crocws yn dod i'r golwg. Mae'r blodyn ar gau ac mae'n sefyll ond ychydig gentimedrau o'r ddaear.
21 Ion 2008. Mae'r dail yn tyfu tipyn bach yn uwch.
18 Ion 2008. Mae dail cynta'r Crocws yn ymddangos.
