Wedding photograph of Miss Beryl Jones who married James Henry Hayes on 4 March 1950 at St David's Church, Fleur-de-lis. Both are covered in confetti and are receiving the miniature corset and horse shoe from a young girl.
Jim and Beryl had met during the war when Beryl was working on the sheet rolling mills at The Orb Works, Newport. Jim was home on leave and visiting his brothers and colleagues still working at the factory.
