Scent-bottle, solid pale-blue jasper, flattened oval form with at one end a short neck fitted with a silver mount to which a small silver lid is attached by a hinge, into the mouth of the neck fits a small blue jasper stopper, decorated with applied ornament in white relief with to either side of the body a medallion with classical figures enclosed by formal borders of leaves, interlaced bands around the upper and lower body, a border of floral festoons around the shoulder, vertical engine-turned banding around the lower body.
