Roman copper alloy figurine of a duck
The bird is in a sitting position with its folded wings slightly extended from its body at the front and crossed at the tail. Cast in one piece with the bird is a Y shaped support, two arms of which underlie the wings while the third forms the tail. The body is pierced by a hole which passes through the duck's back. Probably a knob from the handle of a copper alloy vessel, type unknown.
