Early Medieval iron candlestick
Pronged iron object, perhaps a camp candlestick. Though this is in a badly rusted state, there is little reason to doubt that the drawing represents the original form fairly closely; at least it can be said that the thisis not some sort of trident, withone prong broken off. It may be stuck into the ground, a table-top or some other convenient position. the projecting arm appears to have ended in a loop, perhaps for the suspension of a snuffer.
