The two keys of St Peter in saltire, enclosing top : St Augustine with staff seated under an ogival arch: (the lack of a primatial cross makes it just possible that the image is of the abbot of the house) : base: between three six-pointed stars, a shield: a cross, for ST. AUGUSTINE'S, CANTERBURY, charged with the letter: T (for Thesaurarius) : dext. and sin. a monk seated with a scroll of accounts. Field strewn with small mullets: semi-beaded border.
