Fine woollen canvas embroidered with coloured silks in cross and satin stitch. In centre of upper part, within a border, is verse: 'Ye dying sons of men, Immerg'd in sin and woe...' Below, within a border of stems and flowers, is filled with individual motifs of flowering plants in pots, birds, trees, roses, bowls of fruit, small trees, cats and dogs, crowns, butterfly and stars.
