Casgliadau Arlein

Basket, oval, with sides curving outwards towards top, and scalloped rim. Upper part of body painted with border of alternate beads and dots; then frieze of stylised strawberry leaves, joined by an arcade. Lower part of body formed of a band of openwork reticulation, between two bands of moulded cabling. Horizontally placed C-shaped handles either side, painted with stylised flowers and at either end rings to resemble a diagonally cut branch. All painted detail reserved in brown enamel.
