Swatch of tweed
Swatches of corduroy bound inside a small rectangular shaped book covered in burgandy imitation leather (coated fabric) with a clear plastic cover. The front cover is inscribed with the the words 'COTTON CORDUROYS' On the binding there is a 'WESSEX s.collier &co Wessex' company stamp. There is a code on both sides of the binding which reads T330 and the companies contact details are on the reverse. The tops of the swatches appear to have been embedded in adhesive. On the end of the binding is a hanging loop made from red twisted rope.
Each fabric has a square shaped white paper label adhered to the reverse, with the following information: the fibre, number, maximum width and weight. Some also have handwritten notes in blue biro pen.
The swatches consist of the same weight and texture in various colours with pinked edges on three sides.
