Tea bowl and saucer, hard-paste porcelain, tea bowl stands on a foot rim, flared body and everted lip, decorated with two gilt and purple lustre cartouches each comprising a kneeling chinoiserie figure, gilt band to lip, bottom with two concentric iron-red lines containing a polychrome landscape. The saucer has a foot rim, spreading body and everted lip, decorated with a gilt and purple lustre cartouche comprising a black man with a bow standing on a riverbed, gilt band and lacing on lip, three concentric, iron-red lines on underside.
