Canvas ground, embroidered with coloured cottons in cross stitch. Linear border of varied geometric design. Divided into three compartments by wavy and zigzag stems. In first: cross motif in left top corner, with 2 rows containing alphabet. In second: cross motif with 3 rows containing alphabet and numerals 1 to 10. In third, motifs of the Lamb and Flag between crowned hearts and baskets of flowers, flowering plants, the sacred monogram IHS and other religious symbols. At foot: maker's inscription.
