CAMBRIAN HILLS (painting)
Adeiladwyd llong tri hwylbren y Cambrian Hills gan A. Rodger & Co., Port Glasgow, ym 1892 ar gyfer Thomas Williams & Co., Lerpwl. Capten Williams oedd cyn uwch-arolygydd morol y 'Black ball Line' enwog cyn dod yn berchennog llongau ddechrau'r 1870au. Bu farw ym 1880, ac yn 1896-97, daeth ei lynges yn eiddo i William Thomas, Cymro a pherchennog llongau arall o Lerpwl. Dechreuodd y Cambrian Hills lenwi â dŵr a suddo oddi ar Ynysoedd Scilly ym mis Mawrth 1905.
CAMBRIAN HILLS. Three-masted ship built by A. Rodger and Co. of Port Glasgow in 1892 for Thomas Williams and Co. of Liverpool. Captain Williams was formerly the marine superintendent of the famous 'Black ball Line' before he became a shipowner in the early 1870s. He died in 1880, and in 1896-97 his fleet was taken over by another Liverpool Welsh shipowner, William Thomas. The Cambrian Hills sprang a leak and capsized off the Scilly Isles in March 1905.
