Plate, creamware, circular shape with flat base, curving sides and spreading rim; painted in polychrome enamels with to the centre of the well a botanical rendering of a 'crested sidia', a plant with hairy leaves and stem, two large purple flowers and several unopened buds, a chocolate line around the edge of the well, a chocolate edge to the rim.
