Boch, Pierre Joseph (A pottery factory was established here in 1767 by the Boch Brothers. In 1795 the owner was Pierre-Joseph Boch. Hard paste porcelain was made from 1806. The firm name in the 19th century was Villeroy & Boch (Mettlach).)
Plate, hard-paste porcelain, circular with a rim that is shaped into points, footring; the edge is painted with a border of blue triangles, the rim is impressed with a basket weave pattern and looping threads and is painted with four large and four small flower sprays in underglaze blue, the centre is painted with one large flower spray in underglaze blue.
