Early Medieval copper alloy pseudo penannular brooch
Consists of a fragment of the right hand terminal of an Irish-type brooch that has been reused as a pin. There is one central setting for a bead/stud, and three settings around the central panel, only one of which is complete and perforated by a copper alloy rivet. Two copper alloy rivets pass through the terminal to fasten it to a copper alloy strip bent to a U-profile to act as a head of a pin with a loop on a brooch.
