Pronounced throwing lines in interior of vase, faint on exterior of vase. Vase carved with four large evenly spaced loops pendant from rim, and reaching almost to the bottom of the body. Each loop progressively broadens from rim, and crosses about 1/3 from its bottom where the lower part of each loop's sides is feathered with parallel strokes. Large S shaped incision across bottom of each loop. ?Coated with a cream slip before glazing. Glaze has a very slightly pinkish tinge, visible inside footring and in bottom of incisions.
