Plate, earthenware, circular shape with inset base, curving sides and spreading concave rim, a raised edge to the well, the edge of the rim notched; transfer-printed in underglaze blue with to the well a scene showing a bird perched at a nest containing four chicks, the bird and nest surrounded by flowers and fruit, wide border of flowers and fruit to the rim.
