Pearlware mug, straight slightly tapering sides. Handle with moulded acanthus leaf spur, and gilt decoration. Gilt bands to rim and foot and central band dividing upper and lower sections of decoration: lower section sponged brown/purple in imitation of porphyry; upper section - a border of realistically painted garden flowers in polychrome enamels.
