Pearlware plate with flat base, notched rime. Imari style decoration in underglaze blue, iron red and gilding - in centre a rectangular panel, with ornate borders of flowers and leaves, showing a lake with hills and trees and an oriental style building. Border around rim of blue ovals with leaf and fruit motif, with red cross-hatching in between. Gilt rim.
