Late Bronze Age bronze socketed axe
Small mouth fragment from a large ribbed socketed axe. Prominent outsplayed mouth moulding (9.4mm wide), from which two longitudinal, parallel ribs extend. No runner scar visible on mouth top surviving. Exterior surface has a black patina or coating (tenorite), interior surface has dark green patina.
