A hollow tubular whistle with a mouthpiece and rounded end. The mouthpiece curves and tapers to an open crescent shape (for blowing). Approximately halfway down the body is a crescent-shaped sound hole, set horizontally between two horizontal raised bands or collars. The top or end of the whistle has a suspension hole. A small perforated ball remains inside the chamber of the whistle.
