Roman metal object
Two small fragments of non-ferrous metal found with a metal detector and unstratified. One is the broken bottom end of a Roman trumpet brooch. It is the undecorated end where the shaft of the brooch flattens to a wide end that hooks over to make the catch for the brooch pin.
The other fragment is from what could have been a larger flat disk or dish. It has a folded rim and two curved lines that follow the shallow curve of the rim.
