Cup, hard-paste porcelain, inset base, cylindrical sides, loop handle with a moulded leaf to the shoulder; finely painted in polychrome enamels and gilt with around the centre of the exterior body two Chinese-style garden scenes with figures, rocks and trees, around the upper and lower body borders of scrolled and dotted ornament in puce, blue and gilt between two gilt lines, the handle picked out in gilt.
