Wrought iron, wooden handle missing.

Cast-iron stamped T. Jones, Carmarthen, H-shaped base holding 4" diam. cog (horizontal) and 22" diam. cog (vertical). On the base are mounted 2 U-shaped brackets at right angles to each other to hold driving cog (41" diam, horizontal) and vertical shaft. To the latter is attached the superstructure which takes the wooden shafts (missing) to which two horses are harnessed; and at right angles to the shafts are two sockets (on the superstructure) to take stays and leading rods (both missing) to hold horses' heads.
