Jug, earthenware, in the shape of an ancient Greek oenochoe, flat base, globular body sloping inwards at the shoulder then rising straight upwards at the neck before flaring out to a trefoil mouth with two small spouts to either side of the upper terminal of the handle, plain high loop handle; the decoration reserved against a black enamel ground so that the red earthenware body is revealed, this then transfer-printed in black with to the body three figures clad in flowing draperies and dancing hand-in-hand, one figure holds a wreath, border to the neck of a geometric maze-like pattern, egg and dart border to the exterior lip-rim with a band of red circular dots above it.
