Doll, cloth, Italian 1910

Cloth head and torso and no legs, but a wooden stick attached tot he torso. Wearing a dress made of scraps of fabric, dark grey woollen tweed, two cream cotton panels at sides, checked woollen panel at back black and dark pink. Black and white braid around hem. Burgundy tassell on front bottom skirt. Black sleeves of dress with white cuffs. Striped fabric wrapped around top of body, white and blue. Tie around waist - hessian? beige with red through it. One red earring made of a wooden bead. Beige hat or does it represent hair? or headress? Paper strips at back could represent hair of be part of headress. Under skirt made of paper with Italian writing on it. No facial features.
