The file is divided into sections according to factories visited etc. Steel Co. of Wales Limited Tinplate Division report on the visit to the United States of America in 1948 by H. Leighton Davies (General Manager) and J. Shirley Gazard (Dep. General Manager Tinplate Division). The visit was made to study the methods and practice of the strip production of tinplate, in relation to the erection of similar equipment at Trostre.
