Toast rack, tin-plate, oblong boat-shaped form standing on four lead ball feet, two of which are missing, the centre of the base detachable, nine hoops attached to the base, one of which is missing, to the top of the central hoop a ring handle; the underside covered with a black japan, the upperside and feet covered with a crimson japan, decorated around the rim with lines and a chain border in silver to which the varnish has given a golden tinge.
