Early Medieval iron knife blade
Knife with long, narrow, remarkably symmetrical blade, narrowing almost unifromly from weak shoulders tot he tip. The edge shows very little sign of whetting. Closely similar knives occur in Pagan Saxon cemeteries, for instance, Abingdon, graves 85 and 102; Snell's corner, grave S.13.
