Plate, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain; standing on a foot rim curving into a rounded shallow well with a straight everted lip; painted with a Japan pattern of a central stylised pink flower with foliage circled by an underglaze blue line, surrounded by pink and orange flowers among green leaves, bordered by an arabesque shaped border of rich underglaze blue inset with red shaped medallions; gilt band to the lip.
