S.S. CITY OF MALINES (373gt). Built 1905 as PRINCE LEOPOLD by MacKay Bros., Alloa, for SA Anglo-Belgian Prince Lines, Brussels (managed by Thomas Ellis, London). 1913 sold to Brussels Steamship Co., London, managed by Walter L. Thomas. Original name retained. 1920 renamed CITY OF MALINES. 1925 acquired by Great Yarmouth Shipping Co. Ltd, Great Yarmouth (a subsidiary of P&O). 1946 sold to T. & W. Colassi Ltd, London. 1947 sold to Wirral Shipping Co. Ltd, London (managed by Henry Elmer). 1948 renamed WIRRAL BANK, and ownership registered as Wirral Steamship Co. Ltd (managed by Henry Elmer). 1951 sold to Norman Dakin, London, and renamed SEGURA. In later years, her foremast had been shortened and relocated to just in front of the bridge. She was broken up by T.W. Ward Ltd at Grays, Essex, in 1952.
