Casgliadau Arlein

Mug pearl-glazed earthenware, straight, slightly tapering sides. Handle with moulded acanthus leaf spur, decorated with black borders. Body decorated with relief-moulded flower, leaf sprigs and insects against a dimpled background, also four raised heart-shaped and quatrefoil cartouches each painted with landscapes in monochrome. On front large oblong cartouche with raised border, painted in monochrome with a hound running in a rocky landscape. Border around rim of rocks and trees with rustic figures.
