Prehistoric antler perforated object
Bea, lower tine, and one of the upper tines of a roe-deer antler, with a circular perforation 15mm below the fork. The lower tine has been trimmed to a point and the base shaped to a squared spatulate end which may originally have also been perforated. Several comparable antler objects have been found at Glastonbury Lake Village (Bulleid and Grey, 1917, PL.LXV) but thier use is uncertain.
