Two scenes between large palmettes, one situated below each handle. ln one scene, a woman dances; on other, part of a figure survives, with one arm resting on an object - perhaps the back of a man or lady sitting on a chair.On the rim, radiating lines These containers had high curving handles and lids, and were linked to the rites of marriage/nuptial ceremony.
