Casgliadau Arlein

Pearlware punch bowl; circular, with high foot ring. Gilt edge and narrow gilt band to foot ring. Centre painted with chinoiserie flowers in the 'famille rose' palette; inside rim painted with latticework border in red enamel, with at intervals alternating a single five-petalled blue flower and an oval cartouche containing a red flower with green foliage. Exterior of bowl painted with a border of alternating pink scrolls and red pebbles. Below that Kakiemon-style leaves and flowers.
