St.Oswald crowned and in armour, holding a sword sceptre. Above : Christ in Glory. In base, under a rounded arch, the bishop kneeling in prayer, between two shields: dext. a cross between four lions rampant, SEE OF DURHAM; sin. quarterly, 1. and 4. a bird (? a parrot or popingay, SENHOUSE), 2. and 3. uncertain.
