Casgliadau Arlein

Pearl glazed earthenware egg-cup, open at either end (to admit different sized eggs) and waisted in the middle. On the exterior transfer printed in underglaze blue with the Swansea Willow Pattern (or Long Bridge pattern) of three arched bridge, pagodas and junks; on the interior of the larger cup with the butterfly border and on the interior of the smaller cup with a chinese-style border.
