Sucrier with cover
Sucrier, pearlware, oval form, straight sides, to either end of the body twin plain ring handles, flat oval cover with to the centre a finial in the form of a flower head; transfer-printed in underglaze blue and in-filled in orange, green, yellow and brown enamels with to either side of the body a Chinese-style design of flowers and foliage, around the cover a circular border of a lattice pattern ground with four yellow and orange motifs in oval reserves, floral sprigs to the rest of the body and the cover, the finial painted in yellow and green, the handles painted brown, brown edges to the rim of the cover and the sucrier.
