Small press cutting from an unknown newspaper with details of the wedding day of Doris E. Bamford and Colin Berry at the Congregational Church, Rhos on Sea, 9 September 1941.
'WEDDINGS / BERRY BAMFORD / At the Rhos-on-Sea Congretational Church in Tuesday, the pastor Rev. J. L. Buddell officiating, Miss Dors E. Bamford, only daughter of Mr and Mrs Richard Bamford, Seaholme, Llanddulas, was married to Mr Colin Berry, younger son of Mr and Mrs E. Berry, Everard Road, Rhos-on-Sea. Given away by her father, the bride was attired in a dress of alpine pink with hat and shoes to match, and wore a spray of roses and white heather. Her sister-in-law, Mrs E. Bamford, as matron of honour, was dressed in turquoise blue with accessories to tone and had a spray of carnations. The best man was A/C Gilbert Berry (R.A.F) brother of the bridegroom. Following the reception at the bride's home later the couple left for Barmouth, the bride travelling in grey and a coral coat'.
