Teapot, hybrid-paste porcelain, short foot-rim, ovoid body with curving spout and plain loop handle; painted in polychrome enamels with to either side of the body a group of flowers featuring prominent purple roses, a foliate design in brown around the base of the spout, the handle picked out in brown, brown lines around the neck and the lip of the spout.
