Plate, hard-paste porcelain, circular with a deep central reserve, footring; the centre is painted with five Chinese figures participating in a domestic scene, the edge is painted with a border of horizontal and curved lines in underglaze blue, the rim is reserved with oval and circular reserves containing landscapes and flowers against a dark blue ground.
