Coffee cup, hard-paste porcelain, inset base, flaring cylindrical sides, high loop handle; decorated with around the exterior upper body a broad band of gilt and platinum chinoiseries on a black ground edged by two gilt bands, around the centre of the exterior body a continuous garland of flowers and leaves in polychrome enamels, gilt lines around the foot-rim and lip-rim, the handle painted in gilt. Saucer, hard-paste porcelain, inset base and flaring sides; decorated with around the sides of the well a broad band of gilt and platinum chinoiseries on a black ground edged by two gilt bands, around the centre of the well a continuous garland of flowers and leaves in polychrome enamels with a small slightly worn floral sprig to the centre.
