Built 1936 by Goole Shipbuilding & Repairing Co. Ltd., and owned by T. E. Evans & Co. Ltd. of London. On 28 February 1941, while carrying a cargo of scrap from Shoreham to Briton Ferry, she struck a mine and sank about 2½ nautical miles off Port Talbot. Chief Engineer J. Winning of Barrow-in-Furness lost his life, and is interred at Morriston Cemetery. Minesweeper PERDANT picked up the other eleven crew members and transferred them to the Mumbles Lifeboat. The wreck of the vessel still remains a hazard to ships entering Port Talbot Tidal Harbour. Sunk by a mine on 28 February 1941 in position 51.34N 03.54W, voyage Shoreham to Briton Ferry with scrap.
