Embroidered with coloured silks in cross and eyelet stitches. Linear border. At top: two rows of ornament, Greek key and scrolling pattern, followed by four rows containing upper case alphabet, the letters repeated, row of ampersands and numerals 1 to 12. Two rows with lower case alphabet and date; four rows containing large upper case alphabet in eyelet stitch. At bottom: maker's inscription and date.
