Mark Michaels owned the Dragon Hotel in Montgomery during the recording of this interview. Talks about his life in London, his marriage, decision to relocate to rural mid-Wales to set up a hotel business, Jewish life in mid-Wales and his family’s involvement with the Welshpool-Jewish group, relationship with Birmingham Jewry, non-Jewish and Jewish relations in Montgomery, his appointment as Montgomery’s Mayor, his relationship with Wales and thoughts on the future of Judaism in Wales.
